Why I quit my job

2LTbKkv

A while ago I quit my job. I didn’t quit because I wasn’t getting paid well. I actually made enough to be able to lead a comfortable life and even save a bit every month. But what I was doing was really boring. I felt like every day I go to work is the same and I also didn’t feel like I am learning anything new. And on top of that I didn’t feel like anyone is seeing my work. I was just repeating the same thing every day for the past few years. In short I just felt like I couldn’t take it anymore.

How I became familiar with motorcycle imports

After I quit, I didn’t find a new job or even look for a job for a couple months. I was in a very difficult situation mentally and was trying to figure out what I want in life. Staying at home alone without having a job and not doing anything all day can be very depressing. I knew that I had done the right thing to quit, but the problem was I didn’t know what kind of job I wanted to have now that I was free to choose for myself. One day I was randomly scrolling through my social media accounts when I noticed an article about motorcycle imports. It was the first time that I actually spent time reading through a whole article in over a month.

What I liked about motorcycle imports

You may be thinking what was so interesting about that article. Actually the funny thing is there was nothing particularly interesting about the article other than the fact that it helped spark an idea for the first time. It’s not that I wasn’t aware that such a job exists. But I had just never thought about importing motorcycles as a job before. I absolutely love motorcycles and have been obsessed with them since I was a child. And even though my job has always been something totally unrelated to motorcycles I always spent most of my spare time either reading about the newest trends and models of motorcycles or riding my motorcycle. Even thought I had never thought about it before, but I can say with confidence that I probably knew much more about motorcycles than most people who are in the motorcycle business. So that’s how I thought about starting my own motorcycle trading business. It’s only been around 2 months that I’ve gotten into this business and I’ve already made over a dozen sales of vintage bikes. For now I’m working from home by myself. But after I get the hang of things I’m thinking of actually opening a company.
